Orange Flavoured Cupcakes

I made these cupcakes for my daughter's 4th birthday.  As we didn't plan any party (saving it for her 5th), I thought we'd just bring cupcakes to school.

It's a basic cupcake recipe with orange zest (grated orange skin) to give strong citrusy aroma. You could use flavoring but I found the zest is sufficient.

The buttercream is not overly sweet - don't want the kids to get over excited. My daughter loves the buttercream so much that she finished three cupcakes! (well actually one whole cupcake and icing of two other cupcakes).
