What a better way to entertain a bored little girl (too hot to play outside, did mall the other day) than to let her cut cookies and frost them with sprinkles. Well she did try the icing sugar, even tried to make her own colored icing. The color turned out mud brown rather than the intended orange. It's too messy, she got the icing all over the place. She decided to go for the sprinkles (after taking a break and ate heaven knows how many cookies!).
The cookie is classic chocolate butter cookies. I like butter cookies better than the sugar ones. The dough is softer, makes it trickier to cut out, yet they taste better and not as hard and sugar cookies.
Let's see how long this batch will last :)
